Three local tourists went missing in Pelabuhan Ratu beach areas, West Java, on Thursday after being dragged into the sea by the waves .
Antara news agency reported that the identity of the missing tourists remained unknown.
Two of the three victims drowned off Karangnaya beach, while the third person went missing on Citepus beach.
Sukabumi search and rescue team spokesman Ucok said the accidents took place at around 8 a.m. when the waves were still high.
"We are still searching for the missing visitors," he said.
