Denpasar to have five new hotels

At least five star-rated hotels will operate in Denpasar on the resort island of Bali in the near future after the Denpasar Tourism Agency granted principal permission for their construction.

The five future hotels are Ibis Hotel, Batavia Hotel, Anamaya Hotel and Harris Hotel, says agency head Putu Budiasa.

“The five hotels will be built in the city center and around Sanur Beach,” he said on Wednesday as quoted by Antara news agency.

He said the agency had granted basic licenses proposed by eight investors for construction of the hotels, but refused to name the investors or the amount of investment needed to build the hotels.

Bali, he said, remained be a promising place for tourism investment, given the increasing number of new hotels in the city.

Budiasa said the future hotels would add to the 28 existing star-rated hotels in the city, making up a total of 33 star-rated hotels.(Jakarta Post)

  1. Ibis Hotel is one of the best among Hotel chains. I received very nice service from them. I will surely stay in Ibis when I visit Denpasar.

    Thanks for the Post
