Indonesian Culinary & Cultural Adventure Led By Penelope Williams and Diana Von Cranach

Penelope Williams

Penelope Williams s the founder of Bali Asli – a legendary monument to Balinese cuisine located near Amlapura in northeast Bali that seeks to be a positive force in the local community by presenting food harvested from adjoining farms and seas.

Passionate about food, guests at the villas are treated to an introduction to Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, exploring the flavors, tastes, textures and cultural roots of the archipelago’s
food.

The Culinary Alchemist Tours

Limited to no more than 8 participants, Diana and Penelope will lead a private “foodies” tour to discover local ingredients, learn how to prepare different dishes and basic spice pastes at hands-on classes, feast on more unusual local dishes and still have plenty of time to relax and enjoy these two very different regions of Bali.
