Tauzia Hotels capitalize on Indonesian booming travel market

Tauzia Hotel Management has been present in Indonesia and its portfolio after over a decade in operation is still small: 19 properties in its HARRIS and POP brands. But the ambitions of the Indonesian chain seem to be endless. In just two years time, 101 hotels will be operational across Indonesia.

Tauzia has been segmenting its portfolio into five brands: Worldhotels - a franchise in luxury segment; Preference hotels - a collection of charm hotels;  HARRIS Hotels - healthy lifestyle and trendy mid-class hotels; YELLO Hotels - the Netizen's new economic hotel; and finally  POP! Hotels - for smart and eco-friendly travellers in thbe budget segment.

Tauzia Hotel Management also provides active assistance in the following fields: Human Resources, Finance, Product Development, Graphic Design, Sales & Marketing, Communications, Technical Assistance, E-distribution and IT.
Worldhotels and Preference Hotels are both affiliated to large international franchise groups. In Indonesia, Tauzia will manage until 2015 two Worldhotels properties in Bali (326 rooms in total). The Préférence Hotels brand will be represented with four properties in Bali and Bandung until the end of 2015.

HARRIS Hotels are the core of the company’s business. The three-star brand is operational for over 10 years and include 13 properties with over 2,500 rooms. They are located mostly in Bali, Jakarta and surroundings, in Malang but also in Batam, near to Singapore. Until 2015, Tauzia will add 30 more properties representing an additional 5,200 rooms. By then, HARRIS will also make its debut in Surabaya, in Kalimantan (Borneo)but also in Central Java with hotels in Solo or Semarang.
The budget brand POP! Hotels is currently represented with six properties with a seventh being added before the end of the year in Jakarta. POP! Will until year end consist of seven properties offering over 1,100 rooms in Bali, Bandung, Jakarta/Tangerang (near Jakarta Airport) and in Yogyakarta. By the end of 2015, another 28 properties with 3,700 rooms will join the POP!  brand with new hotels being opened in Sumatra, Surabaya, Central Java and Yogyakarta, Makassar in the Celebes but also in Indonesian Borneo (Kalimantan).

The newest brand which is ready to take off is now “YELLO Hotels”, a range of hotels in the moderate category but focusing on arty high tech in the rooms. Six properties are due to open next year followed by another eight properties in 2015, the equivalent of 2,345 rooms. The hotels will mostly be situated in and around Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali and Central Java. Tauzia manages two further properties in Solo and Bali, bringing another 531 rooms to its current portfolio.
