Since the first event in 2005 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Peter F. Gontha and a team of Java Festival Production (JFP) is seeking to make the festival became the largest jazz festival in the world.
His record is the "World's Largest Jazz Festival". In 2010, there were more than 1,500 foreign and Indonesian musicians who played on stage 20 for 3-day administration of Java Jazz Festival 2010, and was watched by more than 105,000 jazz lovers from Indonesia and abroad.
"Bringing the World to Indonesia" which became the theme of the early years implementation of the Java Jazz Festival, continues to be the soul and spirit of JFP in host them until now.
