INACRAFT 2015, largest handicrafts exhibition

The largest and most comprehensive exhibition of gifts, houseware, and handicrafts in Indonesia and South East Asia: The Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT 2015) will again be held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta from 8^th to 12^th April 2014. This year, the exhibition will involve over 1,600 exhibitors within a 24,000 sqm coverage area and features more than 10,000 products.

Returning for the 17^th edition, this year the exhibition will carry the theme “From Smart Village to Global Market” which emphasizes the promotion of small and medium enterprises to reach worldwide markets. The Craft industry in Indonesia today has begun to show its huge potentials,  proven by the increasing number of local artisans who come up with new innovation and creative ideas for new products. Promising economic demand and market opportunities have made these industries more attractive and viable to explore which  contribute to national economic growth and improvement.

As usual, the event will feature an array of  products, including Home & Garden Decorative items  (Dry Flowers, ceramic flower vases, Candle holders, Carvings, Ornaments, Crafted Silver, Table Cloths, Cushion Covers, Placemats, Bed Covers, Embroidery, Rattan Furniture, Fiber Furniture, Garden Furniture, Kitchen Wares, Table wares, Bathroom wares, Carpet, paintings, etc.), Toys (Wooden toys, Soft toys, Board games, Inflatable items, Toy boxes, Footballs, Jigsaw puzzles, Education games, etc.), Jewelry (Gold, Silver, Pearls, Shell-made, Precious stones, etc.), Fashion Products (Painted Batik, Printed Batik, Stamped Batik, Silk, Fashion embroidery, Moslem Dress, Indonesian Ikat, Indonesian Songket, Indonesian Ulos, Hand woven fabrics, etc.), and a whole lot more.

Booths of INACRAFT 2015 will feature local and international exhibitors including: Producers and Craftsmen, Exporters / Importers / Buying Agents, Collectors, Handicraft producer associations, Artisans Management Agencies, Related Ministries, Provincial Administrations, Municipal Administrations, District Administrations, Provincial Offices of Ministries, National and Provincial Handicraft Boards, Banks, and more.

Held annually for over a decade now since 1999, INACRAFT has proven itself as the most significant event where craftsmen and artisans all across the archipelago present their finest artworks. The event is  acknowledged as the perfect arena where suppliers, distributors, policy makers, and customers gather for the development of Indonesia’s handicraft industries. INACRAFT has also gained recognition both from national and international markets who seek fine quality products.

INACRAFT 2015 is organized by The Association of Exporters and Producers of Handicrafts of Indonesia (ASEPHI) in collaboration with Mediatama Binakreasi and fully supported by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Ministry for State Owned Enterprises, ASEAN Handicraft Promotion and Development Association (AHPADA), and the Indonesia Exhibition Companies Association.
