Try Bandung`s Forest Walk to Escape Urban Hectic Environment

Forest Walk Babakan Siliwangi that is located at Taman Sari in Bandung can be an alternative city escape for those who yearn to take a stroll into the middle of a forest.
The forest walk is a facility made for pedestrians or visitors where they can experience the sensation of walking through a forest and hear the sounds of birds whistling, as well as feel the fresh air that breezes through green panorama.

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil through his Instagram account said that the Forest Walk Babakan Siliwangi is located up to four meters above ground and is the longest in Southeast Asia clocking 2.2 kilometers in length.

The wooden bridge can be an alternative to briefly escape Bandung’s hectic urban environment, as testified by a local Bandung resident after strolling through the forest’s walk path. “This is the place for me to heal when life starts to become complicated and when deadlines are chasing me. It’s truly a place to relieve stress,” said Bagus.
Visitors can experience the Bandung's Forest Walk Babakan Siliwangi free of charge through its main gate at Jalan Siliwangi located exactly across a mural wall.  (Tempo)
