Lecturers to teach Balinese dances in Washington DC

Two lecturers from the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) in Denpasar will teach Balinese dances at the Indonesian embassy in Washington DC, the United States of America.

The two lecturers had passed a tight selection conducted by the Indonesian education ministry, ISI Rector Prof Dr I Wayan Rai said here on Saturday.

The two lecturers, I Made Kartawan and Ni Ketut Suryatini, would stay in Washington DC for three months to teach Balinese traditional dances and music to students and people in the US, he said.

ISI has also sent a lecturer to Russia to teach Balinese dances and music to Russians.
