The Indonesian consulate general in Jeddah, in cooperation with the Indonesian culture and tourism ministry, will organize an Indonesia Tourism and Culture Exhibition 2008 on May 1-2, 2008, at Aziz Mall, Jeddah.
The exhibition would be an excellent opportunity to disseminate cultural and tourism information on Indonesia as the biggest Moslem country in the world, the consulate said in a statement received here Wednesday.
On May 3, the exhibition organizers would also host a business-to-business meeting at the Le Meridien Hotel where some 14 Indonesian travel agents would meet Saudi counterparts.
In 2007, over 45,735 Middle Eastern tourists came to Indonesia and 80 percent of the number were from Saudi Arabia
