Many may not know that Nadine Chandrawinata whose hobby is traveling also likes diving into the deep sea besides her activities as Miss Indonesia 2005 and a film artist.
Last week, Nadine who was born in Hanover, Germany, on May 8, 1984, visited the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2008 in Singapore to know more about information on dive sites, especially those in Indonesia.
Miss Indonesia who went to Miss Universe 2006 was in Singapore last week mainly to promote her book entitled NADINE; Labor of Love which presents the beauty of Nadine Chandrawinata and the beauty of Indonesia`s underwater world.
Nadine who likes eating noodles said Indonesia was actually rich in dive sites but it still lacks public relations agents who can promote the country`s underwater wealth.
At the ADEX 2008, Nadine who is a certified diver was promoting the dive sites of Southeast Sulawesi`s district of Wakatobi which has some 750 species of sea biota including unique sea fish and coral reefs.
The ADEX 2008 was participated in by some Indonesian provinces including West Sumatra, Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, Bali and Southeast Sulawesi which had been dominated the exhibition.
Indonesia`s participation in the ADEX 2008 is part of efforts to promote the Visit Indonesia Year (VIY) program abroad.
