State owned airline company PT Garuda Indonesia has added 30 extra flights since Dec 22 to anticipate an increase of passengers during the holiday season.
Head of state airport management company PT Angkasa Pura II, Hariyanto, said in a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday that the extra flights would be made available until Jan. 4.
Hariyanto said there were three other airlines currently in the process of adding more flights. The airlines are China Airlines, Qantas Airlines and Qatar Airlines.
