AirAsia will increase Bali-Perth services to double daily from August 19, little more than a month after launching its first Bali-Perth service on July 17.
An introductory fare of A$99 for the new service is on sale for four days.
Perth is the first Australian destination to be serviced from Indonesia by AirAsia Indonesia, and it is the fourth international route operated from the Bali hub after Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore.
Kathleen Tan, regional head of commercial, AirAsia Group, said, “Perth is underserved with steep airfares. The overwhelming response with seats snapped up in three hours on AirAsia.com when we opened for sale last May took us by surprise.
