The first deluxe Best Western Premier hotel in Indonesia, the 170-room Best Western Premier Basko, is centrally located with convenient access to Basko Grand Mall, the top shopping mall in town, and major government and corporate offices.

The hotel features a bar, restaurant, fitness center, sauna, meeting rooms, laundry service and an international-standard spa.

Several more Best Western hotels, including BW Resort Kuta, BW Mangga Dua Jakarta, BW Premier Solo, BW Premier Kuta Kedonganan, Best Western Thamrin, Jakarta, and Best Western Kerobokan Suites, are slated to open in Indonesia in 2009 and 2010.

Glenn de Souza, Best Western vice president of international operations Asia, was reported stating that with international arrivals increasing on average by 15% a year, and growing numbers both from within the region and domestically, Indonesian tourism continues to perform well in international market.
