A ship representing the spirit of old Kingdom of Majapahit in East Java is set to sail to eight countries on July 4 from Jakarta.
Kompas.com reported Sunday that Culture and Tourism Minister Jero Wacik will witness the departure of the ship, which aims to introduce culture from Indonesia.
The ship would sail to Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapura, dan Malaysia.
Majapahit territory was once believed to be equal to Southeast Asia region.
