November Highlights

November is considered as rainy month that some tourists who crave to spend holiday in a beach may face disappointment. Indeed, due to climate change, the weather is hardly to be predicted. Beauty in Impermanence

Beauty in Impermanence is the title of an exhibition of paintings by Joana Cutri an American who is inspired by Balinese life and culture and decided to live in Bali. This exhibition is open daily starting on November 5th till December, 6th at Ganesha Gallery, The Four Season Resort Jimbaran.

Tumpek Uduh/Tumpek Pengarah/Tumpek Wariga

On this day, Balinese devote to Sanghyang Sangkara, a god of plants to celebrate the birthday of plants. Essentially, this day is the day when a message to take care of plants is spread in Bali. Besides, Balinese also instruct to the trees to provide a lot fruits as Galungan and Kuningan day is 25 days left. How? By tapping each tree three times and say that Galungan and Kuningan is only 25 days left then pray that the tree will provides so much fruits.
