A special exhibition event is taking place in Bali next month called Heart Strings - An Art Showcase, which will aim to raise money for good causes.
To be held at the Warisan Restaurant in Kuta on September 23rd 2011, the showcase will feature artwork produced by physically and mentally handicapped children from the local area, which will then be sold via a silent auction.
A portion of the proceeds for the event will be donated to Yayasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat Bali, also known as the Institute for Physically and Mentally Handicapped Children.
Tickets for the showcase cost 450,000 rupiah (£17.80), with the evening’s events to commence at 18:00 local time with cocktails and canapes, as well as the auction.
It will be followed by a dinner between the hours of 19:00 and 21:00, with special guest stars to provide entertainment from 19:00 until late.
The Warisan Restaurant is a popular venue in the Kuta region, having recently hired a new Belgian chef, Vincent Denayer, allowing the eatery to offer a menu of refined Mediterranean cuisine.
