Indonesia will hold its largest exhibition of tourism, crafts and
natural resources in Guangzhou, China from Nov 1 to 4, said an official
of the Indonesian Embassy in China.
Gantosari Tanjung, Indonesian interim consulate general in Guangzhou,
said about 120 booths will be participating in the exhibition themed Ina
Fair, Indonesia news agency ANTARA reported.
"We will present several world-class tourism destinations at the
exhibition which will also be offering investment and trade
opportunities to visitors," Gantosari said.
The expo will be held at the 5,000-square metre Yiwu International
Trade Centre and consists 10 zones: Wonderful History, Nature and
Beauty, Wonderful Culinary, Wonderful Destination, Wonderful Resources,
Wonderful Craft, Wonderful Indonesia, Wonderful Batik and Wonderful
Culture and Entrance.
Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy hopes to attract
50,000 investors, tourists and individuals to the exhibition.
The Indonesian government has set a target of 1 million tourist arrivals from China this year. (Antara)
