The December 12, 2103 on line edition of the Sydney Morning Herald has published a subjective review of “Bali’s Top Restaurants and Bars” by Belinda Jackson.
Limited to the eateries that dot the Seminyak – Canggu and Batubelig corridor – code named by the author as “Southern Bali’s Chic Food Scene” – Jackson declares Canggu the "new Seminyak" - a sad commentary admitting that one must now travel further afield to catch a glimpse of a rice field, usually located these days next to a “land for sale” sign.
