Singapore property developer Far East Organization will intensify efforts to expand across the world, including in Indonesia, with two new hotel projects to be developed in Bali and Batam.
Far East Organization property sales chief operating officer Shaw Lay See said the company would team up with local developers due to their better knowledge of field works, including in licenses and land acquisition.
“We have developed a number of property products, from apartments, medical offices, restaurants, to housings and hotels. But for investment outside of Singapore, Far East Organization still considers hotels an interesting property product,” Shaw said as reported by Kontan.co.id on Wednesday.
Far East Organization has an existing portfolio in Batam and Bali, having cooperated with domestic strategic partners in building hotels. “So we are confident to expand,” Shaw added.(Jakarta Post)
