"This is a cultural and sports festival. For four days, we will invite tourists to explore the beauty of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan," Klungkung Tourism Agency head I Nengah Sukasta said on Monday (20/11).
Centered in Jungutbatu Village, this year's festival will highlight Balinese cuisine as well as showcase cultural art performances with marine tourism as the main attraction.
Sukasta revealed that one of the events planned is a campaign on coral reef protection among marine activities, such as sailing, snorkeling, surfing and even an international surfing competition.

Nusa Penida is a small island surrounded by cliffs on which lies its uniqueness. So far, Pasih Uug, or Broken Beach, is still the favorite tourism destination for foreign travelers, followed by Angels Billabong, a natural turquoise pool framed by rock cliffs.
In addition to enjoying the natural beauty of Nusa Penida, tourists can also get memorable experiences with local residents, following the process of seaweed harvesting.
Tourism Minister Arief Yahya has encouraged tourists to visit Nusa Penida in December to witness the beauty of its culture and nature.
