The rafting check-in, recently launched by Four Seasons Resort Sayan, will provide guests with an alternative to the usual 90-minute road transfer from Jimbaran to Sayan. First, the resort will take the guests on a 60-minute drive in a car to the rafting departure point at Bongkasa village in Abiansemal district, Badung regency.
While guests depart on the raft, their luggage continues by car to await the owner in Sayan.
Leisurely guided on a rafting adventure down Bali’s longest river, the Ayung, to Sayan will take two hours, giving the guests incomparable views of the jungle, rice terraces and gorges. Stopovers at a natural holy spring and an historic dam belonging to Bali´s UNESCO World Heritage-listed subak water management system are part of the trip as well.

Resort manager of Four Seasons Resort Sayan Gianni Costa said in a statement that the resort is well-known for its "rooftop arrival", where guests have to cross a bridge and descend into the hotel from the treetops.
“This new arrival by river offers the opposite view with a slow reveal from under the canopy of trees, making it perfect for repeat guests who have experienced the bridge arrival before,” said Costa.
The private rafting transfer for guests who book “Bali: Twice the Magic” is priced at Rp 3.4 million ++ (US$238.62++), including a one-way private car to the rafting departure point, onward transport for luggage, life jackets, helmets and rafting equipment recommended by the World White Water Rafting Association.
