Raffles Bali ready to pamper guests in Jimbaran

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has opened its first property in Bali, which also serves as its 15th hotel in the world.

With 32 private pool villas, Raffles Bali targets those "looking for a romantic getaway or an intimate oasis of emotional well-being" according to general manager Katya Herting in a statement.

Situated in Bali's famous tourist area of Jimbaran Bay, the property boasts a "well-being butler" as part of its service, as well as indoor and outdoor showers and yoga mats in all villas, a restaurant at the resort's highest point that comes with a sunset terrace overlooking the ocean, a beach bar near a 25-meter infinity pool, the brand's famous Writers Bar and Library and two spa suites.

“The highly-anticipated Raffles Bali will be the brand’s second hotel in Indonesia, joining the stunning Raffles Jakarta, and is set to become a special retreat for guests to feel pampered, through meaningful experiences and service that is both gracious and intuitive," said Michael Issenberg, chairman and CEO of Accor Asia Pacific.

Raffles Bali is also said to be the first Raffles to launch the brand’s new well-being program dubbed Emotional Wellbeing by Raffles, which is based on "the understanding that true luxury is not about what you own, but what you feel."

For its soft-opening, the hotel is offering a two-night stay at its private pool villa, including return limousine transfer, daily a la carte breakfast and activities, at a starting price of US$2,660++.

Raffles Hotels & Resorts began with the iconic Raffles Singapore in 1887. It opened its first hotel in Indonesia, Raffles Jakarta, in 2015. It is now part of hospitality group Accor, which boasts 5,000 hotels and residences across 110 countries.

Bali itself recently made news after announcing plans to welcome foreign visitors starting Sept. 11 following months of international travel restrictions because of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Meanwhile, local tourists will reportedly be able to visit the island’s popular vacation spots starting July 9.
