Two tourists missing on Kuta beach

Two domestic tourists, identified as Babas, 22, and Suryana, 25, have gone missing on Double Six beach in Kuta, Bali, since Thursday evening.

Babas and Suryana, two construction workers from West Java, have been in Bali for a while to build a hotel near Kuta. “The two spent their spare time by swimming at the beach with their friends but later disappeared,” said Denpasar Search and Rescue Agency operational head Putu Sudayana on Friday.

According to Sudayana, his team, in cooperation with the Denpasar Police patrol unit and the Balawisata Kuta coast goard, have continued the search since Friday morning (Jakarta Post)
