The 12th Annual AsiaSpa Awards were held on November 16, 2016 in Hong Kong where outstanding spa operators from across Asia were honored.
The gala award evening was themed“Eternal Beauty” during which 21 judges selected the “best” in 24 selected categories for spas, hotels and resorts, and retreats.
The evening's event was held at WOOBAR in W Hong Kong.
More than 400 professions traveled to Hong Kong to witness Spa Village Pangkor Laut, Pangkor Laut Resort, Perak, Malaysia, take home Spa of the Year (Southeast Asia & the Pacific), while Spa of the Year (North & West Asia) went to Willow Stream Spa, Fairmont Peace Hotel, Shanghai, China.

- Jari Menari, Bali was named Day Spa of the Year.
- Cocoon Medical Spa, Bali won Medi-Spa of the Year
- AYANA Resort and Spa Bali won Family-Friendly Hotel/Resort of the Year
- Alaya Resort Ubud, Bali, was named Eco-Hotel/Resort of the Year
